
Kim Gash
competes with her Italian and German imported
German Shepherds in Schutzhund Trials and German-style Shows and
sponsors seminars for Law Enforcement K-9 units for patrol, narcotics,
bomb and tactical. She has also donated bullet proof vests for each dog
on the Kansas City Missouri Police Department K-9 Unit as well as
matched the funds raised to purchase a dual purpose dog for the
Raytown Missouri Police Department K9 Unit. |
Her kennel, vom Haus LeClair
houses her Schutzhund sport and companion dogs.
vom Haus LeClair dogs' have
been helped on training as well as advice on bloodlines by
Dave Kroyer,
Daniele Barbanera,
Bogdan Sergo,
Rudi Müller,
Hans-Jürgen Begier,
and Tom
Brenneman.
Her current Memberships include the
Società Amatori Schäferhunde (S.A.S.), Italia, the S.A.S. Chiaravalle,
Italy, the Verein fuer Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV), The National Search &
Rescue K-9, The USA Schutzhund Club, The German Shepherd Dog Club of America
- Working Dog Association, The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, DVG
America (Deutscher Verband der Gebrauchshundsportvereine), and the National
Police Canine Association.
Kim also showed American
Saddlebred Horses from her family stable,
Kimberley
Stables, for thirty-five years, winning several
world-championships and was voted Rider of the Year for two consecutive
years.
On the "non-K9" side of her
life, Kim is a Commercial Real Estate Broker with her own company,
KIMCO Commercial Real Estate Investments,
specializing in apartment complex sales, management, receiverships and is
the contractor for the State of Kansas Commerce and Housing Low Income
Housing Tax Credit Program inspections. Website:
